Orzo with tomato sauce. Stir from time to time. Pour 1/4 of the dressing into each jar. Heat the oil, then add the garlic.

Add tomato puree, give it a good stir, cover and let simmer for 15 minutes or until orzo is al dente. Return orzo to pot and toss with remaining tablespoon oil. Stir in sauce with shrimp and reserved cooking water, then add olives and salt and pepper, to taste.

Saute the garlic until it’s fragrant, just a few seconds, don’t let it get brown or even golden. Add tomato sauce….and saute it for about 5 minutes. Stir frequently to keep orzo from sticking.

Using 4 (16 ounce) glass jars, evenly layer the seeds and bell peppers. Add orzo and stir until coated in butter, about 30 seconds. Test to make sure your orzo is cooked.

Mix in 1/3 cup kefalotiri (or romano) cheese. In a glass jar, shake or whisk together all ingredients. Add orzo and cook for 2 minutes more, stirring constantly.

Pour meat & juices into a large baking dish and add 3 grated tomatoes, garlic, tomato paste, white wine, 1/2 cup olive oil, 2 cups of water that has beef bouillon, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. Toss to combine and season with a good dash of kosher salt and pepper to taste. Drain the orzo and add it to the pan with garlic and herbs.

Stir in the tomatoes with 3 cups of water. When the sauce is warm, stir in the orzo and zucchini. Add seasoning and stir in tomato paste.

Season with chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Add tomatoes and juices and cook, stirring, until liquid is reduced and tomatoes are starting to. While sauce and shrimp are cooking, cook orzo in a 6 quart pot of boiling salted water until al dente.

Reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water, then drain in a sieve. If needed, add a little bit of the reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce slightly. Ψημένο κριθαράκι σε σάλτσα ντομάταςget the entire recipe with all of the measurements:

Then, add the feta, cucumbers, olives, orzo, and herbs. Stir in the parsley and parmesan. Combine the pasta with the sauce and finish.

Transfer the orzo to a serving platter or individual plates/bowls.
